Video Assessment I chose to assess my students on the video that I created a few weeks ago for this class about two-dimensional shapes. My students will be watching this video as an introduction to our unit on shapes whether that is whole group or in a small group setting. So I thought, that it would also be a great midpoint or post assessment just to see what they have learned throughout the unit. It's also a great way for them to be accountable for the content of the video. :) I created the assessment using "playposit". The Five Senses Classroom This concept map would be used throughout our unit on The Five Senses. Students will refer to this map during whole group discussions and learning. The videos can be viewed as each sense is introduced as well as throughout the unit as a refresher. As a class we can decide on information that should be added to the concept map throughout our learning of each sense. For example, students may decide to add sentences using the adjectives pertaining to each sense. They may decide to add more adjectives to the list as they think of them. Students will differentiate between the five senses and organize any new information they learn using a concept map. Application My concept map aligns with some of the principles of multimedia.
